Abstract: The focus of this talk will be on today’s employment climate and how candidates can get their foot in the door for an initial interview; a problem that many looking for new employment encounter.There will be a discussion on resumes including tips on how to make you appear more marketable on paper and NOT get lost in the crowd of resumes that HR and Hiring Managers are viewing. There will be a discussion on guidelines to follow when approaching an opening. Topics covered include research to do, getting the right contacts and follow up. Biography: Jess Stinson works with Century Associates and has been in Search for over 10 years, primarily focusing on the Specialty Chemicals, Medical Device, Microelectronics, and Advanced Materials arenas. Her successes in these industries are in Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Business Development. Jess has degrees in Mathematics (BA, University of Delaware) and Economics (MA, Georgia State University).
