When two candidates are equally experienced, equally credentialed, and equally capable, who gets the job?

Well, when two companies have similar products, with similar ratings, and similar prices, which do you pick?

If you think about it, you might say: "the one that wants my business more." The saleswoman made an extra effort, or the people at the store went out of their way to be kind, or it's as simple as they just smiled back and said "we'd like your business."

That quote conjures up the best mental images. I can picture a person who will not be deterred. You can clearly visualize the fisherman in this tiny boat, the rough seas, boat rocking back and forth, and still ready to fight the ferocious creature – all the while knowing they will prevail the victor.

I Quit My Job - And It Was My Biggest Mistake Ever

A couple of years ago I decided to quit my job without having a new employment. My friends and former colleagues said I was “brave”, “courageous” and “did the right thing”. Some also told me that they “wished they had the courage to do exactly the same thing” and that it would be a “fantastic feeling” to do it. For me it was my biggest career mistake I could have done.
