Description: 
  • Direct Project Management of strategic IT implementation efforts generally lasting twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months. Ability to manage all project aspects from Initiation to Closeout.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining PMO best practices, methodologies, templates, processes and policies
  • Monitors and reports project status and other performance measurements weekly to key client and company stakeholders
  • Design and build work breakdown structures; prepare charts, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing progress and opportunities
  • Manages, mentors, and collaborates with all members of the project team
  • Supports the SVP of Program Management with management of Project Management staff
  • Prepare management plans and reports; coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of deliverables, presentations and formal Project Reviews
  • Perform horizontal integration planning between core products and other functional systems
  • Develop strong business partnerships with clients and stakeholders
  • Direct interface with key client stakeholders with proven ability to understand client needs and translates those needs into a productive, long-term business relationships
  • Responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to generate revenue to meet established revenue targets
  • Understanding of entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for each client installation and the associated complexities and dependencies, including data migration, system integrations and user testing
  • Familiarity with web technologies (.NET, web services), server and operating environments, database and hardware terminology

Working Conditions:

  • Travel approximately 30-40%.

Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Computer Science-MIS /Business Administration or similar
  • Master’s degree helpful, but not required
  • Understanding of Financial / Managerial accounting
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work in a challenging and rigorous environment
  • 7-10 years’ experience managing projects in an IT environment
  • 5 years’ experience in consulting or consulting-related job(s)
  • PMP certification, or ability to obtain PMP certification required
