Proactively search out and acquire new BU development projects with customers and end users
The position will competently present the company in multiple stimulation and production chemical technologies (Biocide, Corrosion, Surfactant, Clay Control, Sand Control, Breaker, Non-emulsifier)
The position will require a strong focus on prospecting and cultivating leads thus creating new business opportunities. Initiating dialogue with the prospective customers and guidance from product and technology related marketing information. Creates and defines business strategy to new customers and identifying opportunities.
Contribute to industry forums (SPE, API, NACE, AADE) supporting R&T in writing and presenting technical papers Connection between R&T lab team and customer technical team Network and build deep relationships with technical teams within Wells Service Co, Chemical Service Co, Industry Committees, and End Users
- Relationship Development: Develop professional relationships with key decision makers at Well Service, Chemical Service and E&P companies. Strong focus on lead generation, responsible for lead follow-up, preparing proposals, and handing over accounts upon closure. Communicating and advocating customer needs to internal project leaders. Tracking activity of the sales process for several active project proposals.
- Lead Generation and Project Acquisition: Frequently visits accounts and proactively approaches customers to acquire new projects/trials.
- Market Visibility: Contribute to industry forums (SPE, API, NACE, AADE) supporting R&T in writing and presenting technical papers. Interface between R&T team and customer technical teams to drive identified customer opportunities to a solution
- Application Interface: Provide field support to trials as necessary, working with customer’s technical team and end user to ensure successful field trial
- Reporting: Provides timely call reports, maintains prospect files.
